Mortgage Brokering to me allows me the opportunity to help families achieve their overall life and financial goals by strategizing, planning and managing the biggest investment of their lives- their mortgage. I have worked extremely hard to be one of the top Mortgage Brokers in the area, and in doing so opened my own brokerage, Origin-Silverman Mortgage Group, in December of 2008. I compliment my background in mortgage brokering with time spent in Real Estate Development and previous to that, I had a short stint as a professional golfer. I live in South Langley with my wife, Gillian, and my 1 year old son, Nolan. We have grown up and been involved in the South Langley communities our whole lives, and have just moved into a new office in the Brookswood Professional Center.

Coming from a background in sports and sales, I believe that being a Mortgage Advisor marries these two passions of my perfectly. Born and raised in Langley, BC I spent my whole childhood and into my twenties playing hockey.
Once finished hockey, my natural transition was into the field of sales where I spent 12 years selling Evacuation Devices across North America. Throughout my time in the sales industry, I developed a direct sale department that quickly rose to being one of the most successful manufacturer-direct product lines in the Evacuation Industry. I worked extremely hard to not only sell the product, but create respectful relationships with my clients that brought repeat business year after year.
It is this experience that I bring to the mortgage industry. I look forward to providing my clients the utmost in client care and superior mortgage products with the intention to create trusting, mutually respective relationships.
